Considering she so willingly and cheerfully marketed me F.O.C. on her blog, I thought I’d do a quick writeup of hers here too! 🙂
Yi Wei’s blog is best described by her ubiquitous rainbow-hued header: daring, colorful and sexy. *mee-oww*
Fashion, music, drama, art, life – these are but a sampling of the myriad subjects about which she posts on her fancy blog. Thoughtful, insightful, and maybe just a little bit provocative, Yi Wei’s flair for language shows. Alternately entwining and flowing between pictures and the occasional daub of color, her words enliven her posts and draw us in.
Incidentally, she stands out as one of the rarer breeds of chick I’ve encountered thus far: a politics-savvy babe who isn’t afraid to take a stand on the many issues plaguing our country these days. Her rants on political issues can get quite fiery at times, most notably during the dark days of the Perak BN-PR standoff.
Occasionally a creative thread does tumble out of that cute little head of hers. Alternately dark and light, her woven works provide the backdrop to some of the happenings taking place in her life at the moment, and it’s a right puzzle trying to figure out which one matches what! I’m not ashamed to admit I do drop by her blog more than once in awhile for inspiration.
In short, we might not all agree on her political principles, but her posts make for interesting reading no matter our affiliation. Yi Wei’s blog challenges each and every one of us to redefine how we see life, lest we trap ourselves in limits of our own manufacturing. You go, girl! 😀
