..cos celebrations aren’t much fun without a pretty CAKE!
Frankly, I’m quite surprised it’s the 100th post already on this blog. Yes, The Awesomesauce Times has certainly been around for quite a bit, but to reach the hundredth post is something of an achievement for me! Especially when you consider that all of my previous blogs were prematurely deleted.
Yet, here we are celebrating number one-double-oh for The Awesomesauce Times.
So how exactly has blogging on The Awesomesauce Times been different from anything I’ve ever done previously?
Honesty is the Blog Policy
I like to think that I’ve been a lot more open and honest here on The Awesomesauce Times than on any other blog I’ve ever done before. Yes, it may be nothing scandalous or revelatory as some of the things you can learn about your local celebrities off a tabloid, but I’m glad I decided to share those thoughts here.
As an outlet for me to express myself however and whenever I want, this blog has proven to be extremely useful in that sense, especially to help me relieve my frustrations or blow off some steam every so often.

I Gamed, I Saw, I Conquered
Being a game geek, The Awesomesauce Times has given me the opportunity to share my love of all things video game with you too. Writing reviews is harder than it looks! Aside from having to play through the game in its entirety (okay, okay, but this is the easy bit), I would check through game review websites to – no, not plagiarize – understand their take on the game and try to incorporate – enough with the plagiarism already!! – some elements of their more balanced, professionally written, PAID reviews into my own.
Still, I’m glad some of you found the reviews a blast, but do note one thing: I tend to have fun with almost all the games I review, so I doubt a bad game will likely find itself being reviewed here. In that case it’ll be more of a game rant than a game review!
Sex Makes The World Go Round
Inspired by Jasmine, I decided to make The Awesomesauce Times a sex education blog of sorts for the benefit of some of my friends. Among Malaysian teens – is that what we still call ourselves? – at least, numerous misconceptions about sex exist, and not many can claim to know much about sex other than what they’ve seen in porn.
With the help of numerous beneficial references around the web, those posts seem to have provoked some new thoughts and views about sex among my friends!

When You Want Something Done Right, Write It Yourself
All of my blogs have always served the purpose of a creative repository, and this blog is no different. Regardless whether it’s a poem or a story, my musings would be shared on The Awesomesauce Times, open to your comments and feedback. I’m quite pleased with the quality of the ones I’ve done so far, but I do feel that I should be spending more time crafting each new piece I write.
It usually doesn’t take me much to start feeling creative, so I’m quite sure that I’ll be penning new works for some time to come!
* * * * *
That said, all of what I’ve written here would hardly be amounting to much if it weren’t for friends and family like you reading this now.
Thus, I think a tribute is necessary to properly express what I’ve always wanted to tell you, my dear readers.
What do you have to say about The Awesomesauce Times? How could I help you make this blog better? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments section below!
P.S. #200, anyone?
